At the Nigerian Overseas Prisoners Support Initiative (NOPSI), our vision is to ensure that every Nigerian incarcerated abroad is treated with dignity, receives fair and just treatment, and is supported towards rehabilitation and reintegration.

We are committed to addressing the pressing challenges faced by Nigerians in foreign prisons, including human rights abuses, inadequate medical care, and systemic injustice. Through advocacy, strategic partnerships, and direct interventions, we aim to secure improved prison conditions, fair trials, and opportunities for prisoners to serve their sentences closer to their families in Nigeria.

Our vision extends beyond prison walls. We strive to provide returning inmates with the resources, skills, and support they need to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society. By fostering awareness and preventive education for Nigerians travelling abroad, we work to reduce the risks of incarceration and protect the rights of our citizens.

Together with the Nigerian government, foreign missions, and international stakeholders, NOPSI envisions a future where every Nigerian, regardless of circumstance, is afforded justice, respect, and the opportunity to thrive.
